2012's come and 2012's done

2013 now starts with day one

Off with the old,on with the new

Hope the new year is good for you

New years resolutions,I've got a few

Be willing to bet that you do too

I don't know how long they'll last

If you're like me they go pretty fast

2012 came with all of its glories

2012 went with all its own stories

Some were good and some were bad

Some were happy and some were sad

2012 right now is fading real fast

All of it's stories are in the past

Let's leave them all in our archive

Set to books to keep history alive

Past is past so let's leave it there

We've got a brand new year to share

And so to everyone both near and far
