WHO PROVIDED THE SPARK

WHO PROVIDED THE SPARK

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago
Way before the mountains ever got their snow
Before the seas filled and rivers got their flow
Before the bare desert got it's searing heat
And before the echo heard it's first repeat
Before the zephyr wind got it's own cool breeze
Flowing through the leaves in the forest trees
This old world got started, had to be a plan
I can tell you it was sure not by mortal man
You may not believe in God, that is up to you
When I see the way things work, I surely do
Call Him God or Creator, it really matters not
The beauty of nature kinda puts it on the spot
You know without an artist there would be no art
No creator, then no creation kinda says my part
I don't question Him for I don't know His plan
But I do know that it's beyond any mortal man
Maybe there was a big bang way out in the dark
But who lit the fuse and who provided the spark
