Republican, Democrat, Tea Party too
Ive got some "friends" just like you
Make your promises of what you'll do
Get your way and the promises are poo
Just state your policy the popular way
Then flip flop for the public every day
Just like my country I never did learn
Over and over makes it my temper burn
Find what you want and make your deal
Don't keep it up and then you squeal
Not my fault someone else is to blame
Cheat and lie is the name of the game
And the end result is always the same
Spend tax money like it grows on trees
Just raise taxes without even a please
Delegate too much power to just a few
And our justice system'll turn kangaroo
The country's waking up don't you see
And our constitution will set us free
We'll start at the bottom take it slow
Till we get things right don't you know
Now those that work for right and good
Get our votes like you know they should
But if you don't there's no need to pout
Because by gosh we're gonna vote you out
Surely won't happen just over one night
But John Q Public's ready for the fight
