LET'S TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK

The price of meat got so Strativarian
I thought I might become a vegetarian
But the veggies I like are high anyhow
So look out chicken, pig, deer and cow

To go to the store I might have to walk
The price of gas would make anyone balk
But it's not good to sit around and talk
We all have to get up and walk the walk

Now who's to blame for the prices today
Depends on political affiliation I say
Right wing,left wing,It's come what may
Republican or Democrat dictates your say

Some say Bush, trying to capture Osama
Others say all the blame goes to Obama
Reasons not black or white or even gray
And it didn't all start just yesterday

Some old diehards place the most blame
On Nixon,Eisenhower,Truman,a few to name
I say it's mostly just a political game
President goes thru congress all the same

Maybe I'm not the brightest bulb you see
But it all looks pretty clear even to me
Now the president may have a lot of say
But he can't do it without congress okay

Ask about the blame and where to put it
I say the House and Senate is a good fit
The average wage no matter where you sit
Compare to congressmans wage and benefit

We elect 'em to represent us and promote
Majority's will,not go up there and dote
On riches and money, whatever they quote
Represent us right or thats all she wrote

USA let's unite and all get out and vote
They do it right or they pack their poke
Might take a bit but they'll stay awake
If we work together for our country's sake
