.This Old Man

This old man, he played one,
Silence from friends just ain't no fun,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
Now dark sorrow has begun,
Guess his life is almost done.

This old man, he played two,
Sure would like to hear from you,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
He says it's a fine how de do,
Just sittin' around missin' you.

This old man, he played three,
Hopes friends send texts to see,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
Likes to get them on his phone,
That way he don't feel alone.

This old man, he played four,
Loves his family just like before
With a knick knack paddy whack,
Dreams of grandkids on his knee,
Now it's too big a trip you see.

This old man, he played five,
His friends make him feel alive,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
All his friends and family too,
He wants to tell them "I love you".

This old man, he played six,
Laughs and jokes to get his kicks,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
Look out next he's gonna tease you,
He thinks it's a fun thing to do.

This old man, he played seven,
A little fun 'fore he goes to heaven,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
The Good Lords praises he still sings,
Up untill the time he gets his wings.

This old man, he played eight,
Life's not easy but it's first rate,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
Gettin' old and he's gotta go slow,
Still has fun now don't you know.

This old man, he played nine,
A little bit old but he's feelin' fine,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
Not any good in a long foot race,
But with joking he sets the pace.

This old man, he played ten,
Tease you once then do it again,
With a knick knack paddy whack,
Teasing friends is what he lives for,
Be his friend and even the score.
