Sandy Hook Tragedy
A senseless tragedy happened today.
For all those who suffer now I pray
There's no comforting words I can say
To ease the pain that was caused today
For Mothers, Fathers and Brother and Sis
Aunts and Uncles everythings all amiss
What awful spirit could possess someone
To do the deed this evil man has done?
We need never even try to comprehend
Merely pray that this evil should end
Whatever your faith leads you to believe
Call on your God, his comfort they recieve
Buddha, Allah, Jehovah, Krishna, Manitou
Matters not the name He's called by you
Pray to Him for the husbands and wives
Those that lost the joys of their lives
I can't imagine the pain they must feel
While going through this terrible ordeal
I won't go into a sad and useless tirade
Of the imaginary plans my friends made
Of things they'd like to do to this man
I just say forgive him Lord if you can
No man in his right mind would be so low
To kill innocent children don't you know
On that note I think I"m going to kneel
On my knees to my Lord with my appeal
Please protect us from this evil curse
Were it my family it'd be much worse
Forgive me Lord for thinking of me
Thats as far as this sinner can see
