A MEXICAN WIFE'S DUTIES

    Just recently Crystal and Jose married
And began their lives together. Now Jose,
Being very proud of his Mexican heritage
Thought he would be "El Hombre de la Casa"
He said the Mexican way of marriage was for
The wife to do all the chores so the husband
Could rest when he came home from work.

    So he sat down with Crystal and gave her
The rules for running his household. He told
Her that her duties were to keep the house
Cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry
Washed and hot meals on the table for every meal.

    He said the first day he didn't see anything,
And the second day he didn't see anything, but by
The third day some of the swelling had gone down
And he could see a little out of his left eye,
Enough to fix himself a bite to eat and load the
Dishwasher.
