DOG'S CARNIVAL RIDE

Once at work,spreading lime on a field
Something occured,to my humor appealed
When I'd go to the pit for another load
Both coming and going out on the road
A big collie dog ran out and gave chase
Ran after the truck like he's in a race
No matter but he tried to bite the wheel
To run over him would be a terrible deal
Wheels on my truck were really deep dish
To have made a video of this I sure wish
I coulda done so I could show it to you
So you could have a real good laugh too
The dog wasn't hurt but he was surprised
Pretty dizzy too, that's what I surmised
I drove by he came running out hell bent
Slipped and fell,inside the wheel he went
Round and round inside the wheel he spun
Until it threw him out and he was undone
He landed sprawled out on the roadside
Staggered like he'd rode a carnival ride
Now the poor old dog sure had to be sore
All that day he didn't chase me no more
