If I had a nickel every time things weren't cool
I'd have lotsa money and Obama would be a fool
Now my little poem may be only a political tool
But the U.S. constitution says "The people rule"
Not the politicians, who only sit back and drool
Over all the riches there in the political pool
We should round'em up and send 'em back to school
Teach 'em it's wrong to be such a thief so cruel
If they cannot learn to legislate without a duel
Balking and braying lies from the Senate stool
Passing laws with deceptive meaning that's dual
And oppressing our people, stubbornly as a mule
I say put'em in jail, feed them bread and gruel
Till they come unwound like thread on a spool
Replace them with a person that is a real jewel
Whose Integrity is famous from Cairo to Kabool
Let's elect a congress for our country's renewal
