GOOBER LOVES HIS FRIENDS
Goober had a friend on our little farm also
It looked a little strange, don't you know
You'd see them sleeping together on his mat
Why strange you say, Goober's friends a cat
The cat was a good mouser,couldn't be beat
But there wasn't enough mice around to eat
When I saw this happen,much to my surprise
I saw it every day,couldn't believe my eyes
Goober went hunting,got a rabbit every day
He brought it home and gave it to the cat
Then go get one for himself,how about that
We got another pup,a big dog type of breed
When we did, it too,Goober started to feed
Too early for rabbits,puppy just began life
So he left it on the porch,a gift for my wife
She didn't think it was funny or even cool
She just wont admit it,stubborn as a mule
And I noticed after that, and it I did enjoy
Every so often she got Goober a new toy
