Everyone seems to be wanting some more
So I'm going to give you chapter four
The tale of Goober the Community Dog
I'll write it in this rambling blog
Now not everyone who lived in Dotyville
Thought Goober Dog was so big a thrill
Goober went out for a rabbit hunt then
We worried about him after all day again
When he came home he didn't walk or play
Looked like he'd crawled most of the way
The kids asked,"Is Goober hurt or not?"
There's no blood,but Goober's been shot
Who did it,can't prove,but I know I bet
Never mind that,Took Goober to the Vet
He had been shot in the hip, with a 22
Vet said in a while, he'll be like new
He put his leg in a brace made of steel
Said it'll help hold it still so it can heal
For 2 or 3 weeks,keep him laying around
Then he can play,it'll be strong & sound
Now keeping him still was quite a chore
That's another story,I'll tell you more
I'll write it I promise,land sakes alive
So come back tomorrow for Chapter five
