The days and nights went by so slow,
The clock on the wall very loudly said,
Tiiiiiiiiiiicccckkkkkk, Tooooooocccckkkkk,
Tiiiiiiiiiiiicccckkkkkk, Tooooooocccckkkkk,
Now that I'm older I know it's not slow,
The clock on the wall does steadily go,
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock,
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock,
Yes, the older I get the faster it goes,
As we get older gotta stay on our toes,
Just about like old Father Time knows,
We can't play as hard as we did before,
So he rushes it by so we can rest more,
Here's to you people who stay up till four,
If I don't get my rest I get cranky and sore,
So I'll see you tomorrow so I won't look dead,
This old man's saying he's gonna go to bed,
Gonna get some sleep when I hit the hay,
Cause I wanna get up tomorrow and play.
