FAMILY

 Just sitting here alone
Doing some thinking
Wishing I was out
With my friends drinking
I won't complain
I had a pretty good life
A lot of love and just
A little bit of strife
Some people go without
Love all their lives
I was lucky you know
I've had two good wives
My children are all great
Of them I have seven
You see they've put me
In grandchild heaven
Of my own grandchildren
Now I've got sixteen
Of the cutest grandkids
That you've ever seen
And that's not counting
Some that adopted me
That is six more
Makes twenty two, you see
Of nieces and nephews
Wow! I have a lot more
Their number climbed up
To more than a score
I don't know what I did
To deserve all this
But I'm happy about it
Really full of bliss
Regular nieces and nephews
All of them rate
Some grand,some great grand
And some great,great
I won't be around
To see great times three
But you never know
Let's just wait and see
