RIDDLE ME THIS

A man going to market in town is bound
To sell his corn and a goose he found
The man had a fox that was going too
Boy he's gotta sell him,yes he sure do
The goose casts hungry eyes on the corn
Fox is so hungry that he looks forlorn
When he's there he can keep them apart
If he don't watch, won't get to the mart
He gets to the river and he has to cross
Gotta find a way to do it without a loss
On the river tied to a rock made of lime
A tiny boat for him and 1 thing at a time
Now here's the riddle I that have for you
Help the man cross, tell him what to do
The fox goes first, sure as you're born
When he gets back the goose ate the corn
He takes the corn, while he's gone you see
Fox had a goose dinner fine as could be
Get all 3 to market, please help the man
Figure it out and tell him if you can
