FOREVER VIGILENT

Rub a dub dub Three men in a tub,
And just who do you think they are,
The butcher, baker, and candlestick maker,
Not by a long shot nowadays not by far,
One from the cartel was bringing in dope,
Another the taliban with a bomb in a car,
The third was the worst he gives us no hope,
He was from congress elected by you and me,
Chipping away at all our God given rights,
As if our constitution was not there to see,
Passing laws so the law with all it's might,
Legally and finally have us in their hooks,
Taking our guns so we lose all our fights,
Fights with the outlaws, bandits and crooks,
Who are forever in the dark of the nights,
Stealing all our things, yes even our books,
A defenseless population not even well read,
Target for freedoms enemies, hid in the nooks,
Our country would fall as if it were dead,
We can't let it happen, the tub we must sink,
Sink them by voting and cleaning them out,
Being ready to fight both by paper and ink,
And we must be ready when we hear the shout,
Hope it never comes to that, it would stink,
But I'll sure take up arms if that comes about.
Because from my duty I never will shrink.
