FRIENDS

I used to have a Friend,
I guess that I still do,
Really hard to tell you see,
We don't talk like we used to,
I know that people get busy,
But it dont take long to say,
Good Morning, Hi, or even,
I hope you have a good day,
Guess it hurts my feelings,
Feels like being pushed away,
Until I think and realize,
My friend is here to stay,
I've had friends I haven't seen,
Friends not contacted in years,
When I do they're still friends,
And we share some happy tears,
Friends don't always have to be,
Together and in touch constantly,
Because their hearts with love,
Have been entwined you see.
